Our Story

Klaudia opened Silent Moon in 2021 for Artists who want to express their art through tattooing, and for clients who want to be taken seriously. Her founding belief was simple: a tattoo is a work of art. It deserves the same care as a painting, in a professional space where the person in the chair comes first.

Most of our team come from an artistic background. We draw, paint and tattoo constantly, and we don’t copy other people’s tattoos. Every design starts with your idea and is drawn from scratch by the artist who will tattoo it.

Art comes first

For us, tattooing is a way of life before it’s a job. Each artist has their own signature style, and we especially love working in colour.

You come first

The person in the chair gets our full attention. We keep the studio calm and focused, with no chaos and no rush. If you change your mind about a design or placement, we’ll keep working on it with you until it feels right.

We share knowledge across the team and train continuously. We work by two principles: kaizen, the Japanese idea of continuous improvement, and gratitude towards every client who trusts us with their skin.

What to expect

A private room for your session

You won’t be tattooed on a busy shop floor. Every session takes place in a private room, so it’s easier to relax, talk to your artist and stay comfortable during long sittings.

Patience with first-timers

Many of our clients come for their first tattoo. Artists explain every step before starting and take as long as needed to get stencil placement right.

Care through long sessions

We regularly tattoo full-day sessions for sleeves, back pieces and ongoing bodysuit projects. Our artists use techniques to keep you as comfortable as possible over many hours.

A clean, sterile studio

Hygiene is non-negotiable.

A proper finish

After your session we photograph your new tattoo in our in-studio photo setup. You’ll leave with an aftercare goodie bag (and a lollipop).

Common Questions

Silent Moon Tattoo Studio is at 236–238 Jamaica Road, Bermondsey, London SE16 4BD. It's a five-minute walk from Bermondsey Underground station on the Jubilee line and about 15 minutes from Tower Bridge.

Yes, and many tourists do. Tell us your travel dates when you get in touch so we can plan the design in advance. A new tattoo needs a few weeks of aftercare, so avoid swimming and strong sun straight afterwards, and plan your trip around that.

It depends on the day, but mostly yes - for small tattoos. The best way to avoid disappointment, please fill out our booking from.

No, only if you are 18+ you can get a tattoo in the UK.

Yes, there a paid parking space available near the studio. You can find them via the JustPark app.

Sadly we don't do piercings.

We don’t generally allow plus ones, simply because the studio can get quite busy and extra people will not have got space to sit.

We don't allow using any numbing creams during before or during the tattoo session. They are affecting in a bad way the tattooing and healing process, which can cause infections.
