Peng style is unmistakably her own: quick, expressive lines, with sketch marks and hatching left in on purpose, and colour that arrives in bold watercolour splashes rather than solid fills.
Blues, pinks, oranges and greens wash across her designs, while some tattoos lean on a striking black and red palette or pure black brush strokes and ink splatter.
She reinterprets mythology and art history, from Medusa and a biblically accurate angel to The Birth of Venus and The Fool tarot card. Japanese and Chinese culture runs through many of her designs: torii gates, Daruma dolls, origami cranes, cherry blossoms and her signature Chinese knot charms for luck and love.
She brings favourite anime, gaming and cartoon characters to life in her sketchy style, and draws family portraits and storytelling scenes, like Alice in Wonderland, from your own photos. Florals appear throughout, from bright watercolour bouquets to delicate black and grey lilies and butterflies, with golden ginkgo leaves as one of her recurring touches.
Her tattoos range from small, cheerful designs to forearm sleeves and chest tattoos. Book one of her flash designs as it is, or adapt it at your free consultation.
