Robin, tattoo artist at Silent Moon, Bermondsey London

Robin tattoo style sits between fine line, dotwork and illustration: light, precise linework and shading built from thousands of tiny dots rather than solid fills, giving each tattoo a soft, almost etched texture that ages gracefully.

Most of his work is black and grey, with colour saved for his flash designs. In his more experimental pieces he leaves loose sketch lines visible on purpose, so the finished tattoo keeps the energy of the original drawing.

Botanicals run through his portfolio, from large peonies flowing over the shoulder to single lily stems and dainty wildflowers. He loves the sea, with octopus, jellyfish and orca designs, and draws warm pet portraits from your own photos. He also creates art and mythology-inspired tattoos, such as Atlas holding the world, Art Nouveau portraits and surreal sketch compositions, plus playful storytelling pieces like a cowboy duel told across both legs.

Every tattoo is designed around your body: trailing from shoulder to collarbone, wrapping a thigh or running the length of a forearm, so it feels like it belongs exactly where it sits. Choose from his flash or create something fully custom at your free consultation.
